Edaptive Wins ACA MTST Contract
A 5-Year, $70 Million Testing Contract
Date Published: 11/5/2015
Edaptive Systems was recently awarded the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Marketplace Testing Support Team (MTST) contract. This $70M, 5-year contract will support the Consumer Information and Insurance Systems Group (CIISG) under the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) efforts to provide comprehensive testing services for ACA Marketplace application components and services delivered by multiple component contracts. Edaptive will provide services that include ACA Marketplace independent testing (healthcare.gov), test data creation, program management office (PMO) support, and engineering support. Marketplace testing will include all facets of testing such as functional, integrated, independent, performance, and 508 compliance testing.
This win further expands Edaptive’s capabilities, maturity, and reach into several of CMS’ most important and visible components and systems. Additionally, it will greatly enhance the range of testing services and methodologies we can offer to other HHS customers.
A powerful team of CMS contractors, with extensive knowledge of the nature of this work, will support Edaptive on this effort. Our teammates include Quality Software Services, Inc. (QSSI), RELIS LLC, Mathematica Policy Research (MPR), and Next Phase Solutions and Services.
When asked about the impact of this win Frank Zemrose, Edaptive's Senior VP of Business Development, said “The ACA MTST contract is one of our most important strategic wins. It not only expands our technical depth of services into all facets of IT systems testing, but also expands our services and visibility at CMS to include support for healthcare.gov systems and components.”
